Sean Oliu and Johnny Ramos met…
at the 2015 NAMM Convention in Anaheim. We spent time walking the immense music convention talking about our favorite music and musicians. We knew then that we needed to start a band together. We called ourselves The Colony Boys, a nod to the part of Anaheim we both call home. We played a few events and realized we needed to bring on additional musicians. Soon fellow Anaheim residents; bassist Sebastian Mendoza and drummer Ryan Hatmaker joined the band. We all share a love of early rock & rockabilly and have had the good fortune to play with incredible musicians all over Southern California.
